Lucy (FCID# 07/23/2025 - 80) C's Story
This sweet girl is Lucy! When she had just met me, Lucy immediately enjoyed pets and friendly chit chat. Lucy is not shy with new people or new cat friends. She is mellow and welcoming and has the coziest purr when she is happy, which is basically all the time!
Lucy is estimated to be 8-10 years old. She brings a sense of contentment and easy companionship. Lucy is not demanding or clingy, but she responds so happily when you stop by to visit her, tucking her head into your hand, purring away and making adorable air biscuits.
Special Note: I am Lucy’s foster mom, and as I have gotten to know precious Lucy, she reminds me so much of another brown tabby cat that I met while volunteering at the Forgotten Cats shelter. Her name is Mona (FCID#05/08/2025-23) and she is now living with a foster family. I learned that Lucy and Mona were rescued from the same colony. These two girls look identical and have the same endearing gestures, rolling onto their side, tucking their head into your hand, making huge air biscuits and purring with delight when petted. Lucy and Mona have both had all of their teeth removed. (Cats can eat and live normally without teeth.) These two affectionate girls have so much in common! Could they be sisters?! Check out Mona’s profile.
Lucy tried life in an adoption center, and it didn’t suit her. This gentle, quiet girl is much more comfortable in a home setting. So, Lucy is now loving life with her foster family, and she is hoping to find her forever home soon. Could that be with you? Let Lucy brighten your home with her social and affectionate nature!
Please check out Lucy's video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vMiL4OXwSNI . Please check out Lucy's new video and hear her purr: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ah5ID-GV7Dk .
Lucy was already microchipped when she arrived at Forgotten Cats. So, she is ready for your information, if you would like to add it to her chip. Please ask to meet pretty tabby girl Lucy!
