Lucy's Story

Lucy is a sweet young girl.
She's very playful and sometimes a little bit goofy and humorous! She is always looking for somebody to play with her and give her attention.
She is extremely affectionate.
She has claimed one of the cat trees in the shelter as her own. When we walk by, she tries to capture out attention hoping for pets and some playtime.
She is spayed and would make a wonderful companion.

Plumas Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)'s Adoption Policy

PAWS has an application to be completed prior to adoption approval. If you are renting your home, we require verification from your landlord that cats are allowed. Our policy is not to adopt to anyone who declaws or who does not spay or neuter their pets. Our adoption fee is $50 for a spayed or neutered cat. If the cat or kitten has not been spayed or neutered, the fee is $100 with $50 refunded when we receive proof the animal has been altered. We do the first FVRCP vaccinations as well. We do take cats back if for some reason the situation does not work out.
