Lucy bonded to Susan's Story

Meet Susan and Lucy, two inseparable sisters who have spent their whole lives looking out for each other. These beautiful 2-year-old black house panthers grew up side by side, and while they can be adopted separately, their hearts truly shine brightest when they're together.

Susan is the brave explorer of the pair-curious, affectionate, and always ready for gentle love. She lost an eye as a kitten, but that never slowed her down or dimmed her spirit. She's the kind of cat who will quietly follow you from room to room, just happy to be part of your world.

Lucy is the soft, shy soul. She needs a little time to trust, but once she knows you're safe, she becomes incredibly sweet and devoted. Her love isn't loud-it's tender, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful.

Both girls are gentle by nature and can be easily pushed around by dominant cats, so they're looking for a calm home where they can truly blossom-together or individually.

If you've ever wished for companions who bring peace, gratitude, and quiet joy into a home, Susan and Lucy are waiting. They survived their early years by leaning on each other... now they just need someone kind to lean on too.

Thank you for your interest in adopting from us! We are an all volunteer, 501c3 animal rescue in southeast Michigan. Our mission is to place all of our animals in loving, permanent homes. You are not purchasing a pet from us; you are adopting a living, breathing, creature that deserves safety, love and care. Your answers on the application are assurance to us that the animals we care for are going to good, permanent homes. All of the information on the application is confidential. Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old. Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old. Foster-to-adopt and Adoption fees are non-refundable. We do not use a first-come, first-serve process when adopting out our animals. Instead, we focus on best fit for each individual animal. The process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet. Dogs can live 10-15 years, and cats can live 15-20 years, so please make sure your lifestyle allows the time, patience, and ability to cover expenses your new pet will need over the years. Will you be travelling frequently, moving soon, or having children? Responsible pet ownership includes as-needed and routine veterinary care, quality food, preventatives, and other supplies. You must be at least 21 years old to adopt. All of our adoptable animals have had a complete veterinarian checkup. Our dogs and puppies are heartworm tested. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, and have received age-appropriate vaccines before going to their forever homes.
