Lucy's Story

Observations suggest that Lucy may have Siberian or Norwegian Forest Cat heritage. Lucy was an untamed kitten who has been in her foster home for little over a month. She is more comfortable with humans than her siblings. She will approach and rub up against her foster mom's leg. Lucy will need to have someone who understands she will need time to feel comfortable in new situations. She has been introduced to the family cats in the foster home and didn't have any issues with them. She has been introduced to the family dog, however those introductions didn't go well, so visits have been halted.
Human socialization is more important for her than socialization with the dog.

Lucy likes covers to hide/sleep in. She plays with her siblings and enjoys toys. She enjoys hanging out on the cat tower looking outside. She will not come and sit on your lap; however, she does not mind being picked up. She is normally purring before you even start petting her. She will let her foster mom brush her which she will need daily as she is a longer haired cat. She has a laid-back attitude, but quick movements and loud noises will send her running for the nearest hiding place.
