Lucy is quite a loving beauty Queen! She was also a dedicated and devoted Mama cat a few months ago. Previously called "Morticia" because she was found at a funeral home in Hillsborough begging for help with her 4 newborn kittens. Kind strangers managed to get her and the kittens to a safe location with her current foster family. This was last October, 2023 and since then she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. Our vet thinks she is between 2 -3 years old. Lucy was not feral, in fact she was super friendly and seemed to know to ask humans for help. Sadly, she was probably dumped out when it became obvious she was pregnant. Lucy is a beautiful diluted Calico, and just look at those gorgeous bright green eyes! She will need help losing her "baby weight", currently she is 15 lbs., which does make a wonderful purring "weighted blanket"! Lucy is a SUPER affectionate LOVEBUG with the humans in her foster family. She wants to be wherever they are and even tries to sleep on the same pillow. She has a dominant personality but is learning to play nice with the other female cats and dogs in the house. She is still young and playful and enjoys stalking her toy mice and chasing her kitty crinkle balls around the house. Lucy could probably be happy as an only cat, she doesn't mind her dog siblings, as long as she had people around that would spend time with her and love on her lots. She is getting along better with her foster cat sisters so that's a possibility or perhaps a young adult male cat would be a good match.
