Lucy's Story

Lucy, Female, 3 years old

Lucy is a beautiful 3-year-old girl who’s a little shy at first, but with patience and gentle affection, she truly blossoms. Once she warms up, she enjoys soft pets and quiet attention, showing her sweet and tender side.

Lucy would do best in a calm, quiet adult home where she can feel safe and secure. She prefers to be the only cat, so she can soak up all the love without competition. If you’re someone who appreciates a gentle soul and is willing to let a shy kitty set the pace, Lucy may be the perfect companion for you.

Give Lucy the peaceful home she’s been waiting for—she’s ready to love in her own special way.

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.

Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.
