She was abandoned with her four tiny kittens—Jett, Mila, Leo, and Oliver—and they were found at only one day old. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan brought the whole family safely indoors, where Lucy and her babies could grow up surrounded by care and love.<br/><br/>Lucy is a wonderfully expressive girl who isn’t intimidated by other animals. She has been raised around an adult cat and a Husky and is comfortable sharing her world with other animals.<br/><br/>This girl is also very food motivated—she loves to eat and is unlikely to turn down an opportunity for a tasty meal. Her other favorite things include getting kisses, soaking up attention, and lounging in a warm patch of sunshine. Give Lucy a sunny window and she’ll happily spend the afternoon stretched out and sunbathing.<br/><br/>Lucy enjoys affection and especially loves getting kisses and hearing what a pretty girl she is. She will allow herself to be held for short periods, although she prefers affection on her own terms. She’s the kind of cat who may come looking for you when she wants attention, make sure you know exactly what she wants, and then settle in for some quality time together.<br/><br/>With her expressive personality, curious nature, love of food, and sunny disposition, Lucy is sure to bring plenty of character and conversation to her forever home.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a beautiful, talkative girl who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to tell you, Lucy may be your perfect match! <br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. <br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
