Hi, my name is Lucy! I am an absolutely stunning, young, short-haired, calico girl who was discovered in a cattle guard with my 2 kittens. Yes, you heard right - my foster mom found me inside a cattle guard at a busy intersection, desperately trying to survive with my 2 newborn kittens. She suspects that someone dumped us there. When she got me home, she noticed I was scratching my ears quite a bit and was horrified to find my ears filled with ticks! I knew she was helping me and I behaved so nicely as she removed every one of them. I immediately LOVED my foster mom and will run to greet her, jump right into her lap, and let her carry me all around. I was quite leery of men at first, but my foster dad has been so patient and gentle with me that I'm changing my mind. I'm quite young, despite already having a litter, and developed quite the playful personality once I realized I was safe. I love playing with all kinds of toys!! My foster parents contemplated keeping me because I am so sweet, but I don't seem to like other cats all that much. I would do exceptionally well in a calm home with someone who wants a sweet, playful, single cat to love. Please consider adopting me! I've already been through so much in my short life and am such a sweet girl with so much love to offer. (Oh and by the way, my two babies grew up to be healthy and adorable, of course!) I'm spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.
