Lucy's Story

Lucy is shy at first, but will quickly become your best friend. She likes to sleep on the bed with her human. And while on the bed she may roll over for belly rubs and knead bread. She likes mice toys. She will bat them across the room, chase them down and then carry her “kill” proudly around the house.

She will need someone that will help her lose some weight and she will need weight control food. But despite the extra weight she is still quite mobile and has no problem jumping onto the bed or sofa.

Lucy likes attention… pets, cuddles and playtime. She has lived with another cat (Bryce) most of her life, but seems indifferent to him. No fighting, but she seems to prefer human friends more than feline friends. Lucy was born in 2017.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
