Lucy's Story

LUCY / ROSALIE CULLEN is a female not yet spayed medium hair brown tabby kitten (possible Abyssinian mix), born about March 2025. She was rescued as a stray by a kind person, then accepted by YAPS mid-June 2025. A foster took her home with intent to adopt her, but she was returned early February because she was stressed in the home which also had a dog. We find her to be: beautiful & VERY affectionate. Lucy usually comes to you for affection, and rubs against your legs. She LOVES being petted, or held in your lap/arms as long as you wish - often purrs, nuzzles you, &/or rolls over for stomach rubs in appreciation. She does not get along well with other cats, so should be the only cat in the home.

Yucaipa Animal Placement Society's Adoption Policy
The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and a microchip for dogs and cats. We do a thorough assessment of the animal’s temperament and needs so that we can find both them and you the companion of a lifetime. Our goal is to adopt out pets into permanent, loving homes. The YAPS Team is here to help you choose a pet that will fit in with your lifestyle and bring harmony to your home. YAPS does not currently offer transport for adopters outside of our surrounding area. Adopters must adopt a pet in person at our facility or adoption events.
