Lucy's Story

Lucy is a young cat, born in April. She is sweet, (with just the right amount of) calm and playful. She will turn anything into a toy, and often plays soccer with bread ties, bottle caps and stray packaging peanuts (even though she has an abundance of toys)! She is sometimes called "mama's twin" since she has the same silky, soft fur and very similar markings as her mom (Blondie is also up for adoption!). However Lucy has recently branched out from palling around with her mom to taking naps with a kitten named Panda. This was a surprise to her foster mom who did not see this connection coming. Panda is much smaller than her and she seems to understand and plays very gently with him. She also tolerates his little white mits always resting on her body when he naps. They are a match made in heaven, so it would be lovely if they could stay together.

In addition to loving her friends, she also LOVES people. She lives for being held and petted and will show her appreciation with endless (super sonic) purrs, licks (kisses) and bisquits.

Although out-going at home, she can be shy at adoption events, which causes her to be overlooked. Schedule a private meet and greet so you can get to know her in a quiet setting where she will be more comfortable and shine!
Lucy has been sterilized, combo tested, age appropriately vaccinated and microchipped.

Interested in adopting? Bottle Babies Rescue's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based rescue and require a adoption application submitted to us before any meet and greets are scheduled. Please keep in mind we get an overwhelming number of applications for each animal and we review applications in the order they are received. If you are approved, you will receive an email from us and a volunteer will follow up with a phone call to schedule a time to meet the animal and finalize the adoption. It's important you provide contact information for your landlord (if you rent), parents (if you live with them) and vet (if you have pets already). Omitting this information will slow down the review process and/or force us to skip over your application. All of our babies are spayed & neutered, Micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, Felv Fiv & heartworm tested. They will also be up to date on their flea meds, before they can go to their new homes. We highly recommend socialization and obedience training for all puppies. Every home is chosen according to the needs and temperament of the individual fur baby, we like to ensure they thrive in their home environment. If you are not chosen for a certain fur baby this does not disqualify you from applying for another animal in our care.
