Lucky's Story

Lucky came to her foster home from a local shelter as a stray with newborn kittens. After living her whole life outside, she has been learning how to “housecat” . . . and she is loving it, from sunny window spots to afternoon treats!

Lucky has had a hard life but has learned to trust people. While she is a bit uncomfortable being held and scoots off with sudden activity or loud noises, she loves to be petted and will roll over for chin scratches.

Lucky is a bit older (4-6 yrs), so she’s past her kitten energy but still likes to play with a toy mouse. Once she settles in, Lucky will snuggle next to you on the sofa and meow at your feet when it is time for some attention. She has a loud, rumbling purr, and she makes the most amazing air biscuits! Lucky would love to be adopted as a single cat or to a household with a friendly cat.

-Sweet
-Adorable
-Litter box trained
-Good with cats with an introduction

Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.

Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application.

https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications

*All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing.
