Lucky's Story
Pretty Lucky is a shy senior cat with soft fur and beautiful eyes.
She is gentle and quiet, enjoying her meals, napping in the sun, relaxing near the warm radiator, and having short spurts of delightful playfulness.

Lucky came in to Annex Cat Rescue from difficult outdoor circumstances, and has been grateful to be indoors. She received any needed medical care from ACR, and her health is quite good.

Lucky does not ask for much: simply a safe, quiet, warm place to live, and being able to count on regular meals and treats. Lucky went without food for so long, and food is very important to her, and being fed becomes a real bonding experience with her adopter.
She eats canned cat food three times a day, with churro treats given liberally! Lucky does not do well with dry food, which she only gets as an occasional treat.

Lucky would benefit from having an adopter who is at home often. Routine helps her to feel safe.
She would do well in a home with a kind adopter who understands that a shy cat truly blossoms in wonderful ways if given time, love and patience. Lucky is a quiet presence in her foster home, providing little purrs , gentle snuggles and sharing her own sweet version of affection and happiness. Lucky has excellent litter box habits.

Lucky is negative for FIV and feline leukemia. She is up-to-date on vaccines and has been treated for fleas and parasites. In August 2024, she had dental surgery with extractions (but it certainly has not prevented her from eating, and enjoying her food) and her bloodwork at that time was normal. Lucky is allergic to fleas and should be treated preventively with appropriate medication.
