Lucky's Story

Sadly, 11-year-old Lucky finds himself looking for a new home because his human has to go into a nursing home and they can no longer care for him. He found some very nice people to care for him while he waits for his forever home. Could that be your home?

Lucky is a world-class chatterbox who always has something to say, whether he's greeting you when you walk through the door or offering his opinions about your day. He truly loves being part of the conversation.

When he's finished talking, you'll usually find him curled up in your lap. Lucky is an affectionate cuddle bug who believes every cozy evening is better with a human to snuggle. Despite being a senior, he still has a playful streak and can't resist wand toys or anything attached to a string. Watching him play is guaranteed to make you smile.

Lucky is neutered, fully vetted, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He takes one small methimazole tablet (5 mg) daily for hyperthyroidism. He's been tolerant of other cats, though he hasn't been around dogs, so we're unsure how he'd feel about canine roommates.

Lucky's story is bittersweet. He spent his entire life with the woman who raised him from a kitten. When she unexpectedly had to move into permanent care, her family planned to euthanize him simply because they couldn't keep him. Thankfully, his wonderful foster stepped in and gave him the second chance he deserves.

Now, Lucky is looking for the one thing every cat hopes for—a forever home where he can spend his golden years doing what he does best: keeping you company, warming your lap, making you laugh with his endless conversations, and reminding you every day just how special a senior cat can be.

If you're looking for a loyal companion, a professional cuddler, and the best conversationalist you'll ever meet, Lucky has been waiting to meet you.

If you think Lucky could be the guy for you, text Deb at 248-802-5320 or email me at wiserwhiskers2@gmail.com and I'll get you in touch with his foster.

Located in Ferndale.

Foster Jeanette (gmail)
