Lucky's Story

Lucky is docile, meek and amiable. He is known for his gentle, calm and easygoing nature. Lucky doesn't have a mean bone is his body! He will let his human companion hold and cradle him in your arms. Lucky's mellow temperament ensures calm, cozy moments. He is fascinated with cardboard boxes. Lucky and a cardboard box go together like peanut butter and jelly! When he is not hiding in or exploring a box, Lucky becomes a hockey player. He can take an object, like a tile spacer, turn it into a puck and propel it to the goal. Lucky's gentle spirit and loving nature make him the ideal candidate to bring joy and companionship into any home.

Due to an unknown reason, he has a neurological disorder where he will occasionally lose his balance while walking but most times, Lucky is poised and takes to running through the house normal and stable. He does not have a righting reflex therefore when he falls, Lucky does not land on his paws for a safe landing. No tall kitty towers for Lucky. Keep his climbing post short and low.

Lucky's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. He's ready to bring his gentle charm and magical curiosity into a loving home, promising to be the perfect companion. Lucky has thrived around other cats and a small cat-friendly dog.

He is a 1-year-old ginger tiger tabby with a long coat, gold eyes, pink nose and shows off ear furnishings. Lucky's adoption fee is $70.

To submit Lucky's adoption application, copy and paste the link: Adoption Application for Feral Feline Coalition

All adoptions are conducted by the foster following an in-person interview with the potential adopter. We have a booth most Saturdays at the Fresh Market in Ocean Springs and sometimes bring our adoptable cats there for everyone to meet! You can contact us at feralfelinecoalition@gmail.com. We interview people, determine if they are a good match for the cat and can be responsible pet parents. They must have a carrier to take home a cat, complete the adoption agreement and pay a minimum donation of $70.00.
