LUCILLE's Story

LUCILLE is a very pretty young kitty who was brought into the shelter as a stray. She is just barely out of the classification of kitten, so she is energetic and playful. She is curious and likes to get attention, until something catches her eye, then she's off on a romp.

We do not know how she is with cats, but she is adjusting to her roommates. We don't know about dogs, but she's ok with children who visit. LUCILLE is so young, that with proper introduction and patience, she should be able to adapt to most situations. However, it would be best if her 4-legged siblings are non-aggressive, and the two-legged siblings are old enough to understand what soft pets and no tight hugging means when you have a kitty. They also need to be aware that playful kittens/cats may get too excited and play a little rough.
LUCILLE is friendly and will meow for attention but has a rough sounding meow.

LUCILLE is no longer so interested in climbing your curtains, as kittens often do, LUCILLE is more into playing with toys and getting some love from her family. Perhaps she would be just the right kitty for your family.

DOB 12/23, Entered Shelter- 12/24

If you would like to adopt LUCILLE, please visit the shelter during Adoption Hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm, or call 231-773-3030 to make an appointment.
