Lucifer's Story

At just 5.5 years old, Lucifer has already taught us a pretty important lesson: sometimes the cats who seem the toughest at first are the ones with the sweetest hearts.<br/><br/>We have a confession to make.<br/><br/>When Lucifer first came to us, we weren't entirely sure how we felt about him.<br/><br/>He was spicy. Not a little spicy. Maybe lets give him some space today spicy.<br/><br/>New people? Suspicious.<br/>New situations? Also suspicious.<br/>Rules? More like suggestions.<br/><br/>But as it turns out, Lucifer wasn't mean. He was scared.<br/><br/>Once he realized he was safe, he slowly started showing us who he really is. And honestly? He's become one of the sweetest cats around.<br/><br/>He loves attention, enjoys being near his people, and has come such a long way since arriving in rescue.<br/><br/>Now, Lucifer does have one quirk. Sometimes when he's really enjoying being petted, he gets a little overstimulated and may give a gentle reminder nip to let you know he's had enough. We can relate—sometimes we need a little personal space, too.<br/><br/>Watching this boy learn to trust has been one of our favorite transformations.<br/><br/>He's come a long way, and were pretty darn proud of him. Perspectives adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application asking them for some basic information relevant to the background of pet ownership and current living situation.
