LuLu's Babies's Story

We'd been feeding LuLu at the local HyVee dumpster for some time, just waiting for the right time to trap her. She was still feral.

We noted she was looking like she might be pregnant and jumped in the next day to trap her. We took her to the vet, who scanned her and said, "It'll be about 2 more weeks before the babies come based on the lack of development of the kittens extremities. So we took her home and made her comfy, working on socializing her before the babies came.

The BOOM, two days later, she had 6 adorable kittens. Then our friend Sandy called about an orphan kitten that needed a mommy. So we took in Lucky and LuLu absorbed him right in with hers. Sadly her little tabby boy passed away the next day.

So here we are, with 6 adorable kittens all looking for wonderful homes. They'll be available toward the middle to end of July, depending on their weights and shot status, etc. They have all, already tested negative for FIV/FeLv and have had their first distemper shots. Growing like weeds.

Bo is spoken for by a qualified adopter. So the remaining 5 are still available, though we have interest in KiKi too. So if you are interested, please let us know so we can get you an application right away.

LuLu is available too, by early July. She's sweet and socialized now. So gorgeous!

I marked them all as spayed/neutered and up to date on shots, as they will be when they leave us for their new homes. Possibly not rabies due to their ages.

Oh and please text/or call either 816 679 2729 or 816 863 3973 if interested. We've found PetFinder's email system occasionally puts our responses in SPAM or something. So reach out directly, please.
