LuLu's Story

Hi, I'm Lulu, a beautiful short haired Torbie Point Siamese female, born approximately 10/15/2010. I'm a gentle, sensitive girl who takes a little time to feel safe, but once I do, I'll be right by your side (literally). I'm not one for the spotlight or sudden attention. I prefer a calm, steady environment where I can observe, settle in, and slowly build trust.
For most of my life, I had one person, my person. I was devoted to her. When life changed and my world became bigger and busier, I struggled. I've learned that I do best in a calm, predictable home, ideally with one or two experienced adults who will respect my space and let me come to them on my own terms. I can be protective of my territory, and if I feel overwhelmed or approached too quickly, I may react. I'll always give a warning first (a hiss is my way of saying "please slow down"), but I need someone who understands and respects that communication. Because of this, I'm not a fit for homes with dogs or young children, and I'd be happiest in a quieter, consistent household.
Once I feel comfortable, I'm incredibly affectionate in my own way. I love to snuggle up beside you and keep you company. I'm not a fan of being picked up, but I'll happily stay close and share quiet moments. I'm a bit particular when it comes to food. I prefer my crunchy kibble and don't get too excited about treats, though I do enjoy tuna juice. I enjoy the simple things, dangly toys, feathers, catnip, and a good cardboard scratcher. Give me a sunny window or a safe outdoor space like a catio, and I'll be in heaven. I've lived my whole life with my brother Linus. We can be adopted together or separately. I might even do well on my own, where I can relax and not feel the need to share my space. What I'm really looking for is someone who is cat savvy, patient, kind, and willing to let me bloom at my own pace. If you can offer me that, I'll be a quiet, loving companion who makes your home feel just a little bit softer. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption application at www.wbcats.org/adopt.
