Lt. Boney Sides's Story

"Lieutenant Boney Sides" is up for adoption, he has always been a foster and has been looking for his furrever home for some time now. "Lieutenant Boney Sides" has feline herpes in the form of daily ocular discharge that simply needs to be wiped from his eyes daily. He stresses easily and with that stress he may exhibit UTI symptoms until stress resolves. He is on C/D stress and has liquid gabapentin if UTI symptoms arise. No urinary stones or infection is present. "Lieutenant Boney Sides" is good with cats, calm dogs and children. “Lieutenant Boney Sides", "Lieutenant" or "Lt." for short was rescued from a farm with his brother "Buddy" and was very sick. It took many months to bring him back to health and now he is a social little guy who loves attention. He absolutely loves to play with his toys and his older brother "Buddy". His favorite place to nap is right by the window. "Lt." Loves to cuddle and be near his owner, he's adorably clingy and just feels his best when he is around someone. He is the ultimate initiatiator of play, specially with his brother "Buddy".

Cat People of Oahu's Adoption Policy
If an individual is interested in a cat or kitten listed, they will complete the first three pages of the Cat People of Oahu (CPO) Adoption Application and submit to cpoadoptables@gmail.com. Please review the fourth page but do not complete it at this time. A representative from CPO will forward the completed application to the cat's current foster parents. The foster parent will then be in contact with the prospective adopter to set up a time to meet the cat. If the foster parent opts to offer the cat to the interested party and the interested party decides to adopt, then the CPO Adoption Contract will be reviewed and signed by both parties and the adoption fee will be paid directly to the foster. Please note that there may be a short waiting period between the meet and greet and a finalized adoption and that filling out an application and meeting a cat does not guarantee that you will be selected to adopt a specific cat. Cats and kittens listed are in foster homes across the island. The location of a specific animal will be disclosed once you inquire, but please be prepared to possibly travel to meet your cat or kitten of interest. Adoption fees range from $25-$100 per cat and are determined by the foster.
