Lowestine's Story

Meet Lowestine, a beautiful, chunky 8-year-old mitted-tabby girl with a heart of gold. This big, plush girl has a stunning brown coat with a sweet white bib and paws, and her long hair makes her look like a teddy bear. ( She is growing out a lion cut)
Despite her adorable appearance, Lowestine can be a bit timid at first, but don't worry, she'll warm up to you in time.

Lowestine's passions in life are simple yet delightful: napping, eating, and sunbathing. She loves watching birds outside the window and soaking up the warmth on a cozy spot. But what really gets her going is a good scratch on her rump - she'll stick out her little tongue and make the cutest movements.

This gentle soul needs a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and comfortable at her own pace. She's been through a lot, and what she needs now is patience, understanding, and a calm environment. The good news is that she's a laid-back girl who gets along with everyone - cats, dogs, and humans alike.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will bring joy and calmness into your life, Lowestine might be the perfect fit for you. St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines's Adoption Policy
TO ADOPT, ONE MUST Have current photo identification with your current address Be willing and able to spend the time & money needed to care for your cat Carefully read the terms of our Adoption Contract and agree to its terms. Agree that if they cannot keep the cat they have adopted from St. Sophia’s, they must return the cat to us Agree to allow an authorized representative of St. Sophia’s to make an adoption follow-up THE PROCESS Adopting should never be an impulse decision — pets are for life. We respectfully ask that you come fully prepared to take on the care of a cat prior to filling out an application. On average, owning a cat costs $40 a month (food/litter/health), which is $480 annually. Cats (especially kittens) take lots of time, dedication, and love to grow and develop into loving and healthy household pets. Because we at St. Sophia’s pride ourselves in knowing our cats, we want what’s best for them, and to ensure they are going to good homes we conduct reference checks (personal and veterinary) in addition to the basic application. Please expect the adoption process to take at least 24 hours, and when your adoption is finalized, you’ll need to bring a carrier to take your new pet home in.
