Lovey (senior lap cat)

Lovey lives up to her name! She was originally found as a little kitten on the streets of Carlisle and followed a friendly person home. Her owner took her in and spoiled her for the past almost 13 years before she had to move to a nursing home. Now Lovey is safely with LCCR, looking for a new home to call her own. In the meantime, she waits patiently in a bedroom at her foster home, away from other pestering cats who she does not care for. She enjoys when her foster dad works from the office in that bedroom because she can pop over to him for pets and snuggles whenever she wants. Her foster mom will sleep in the bedroom with her, and she likes that. This gal will brighten anyone's day with her loud purr, numerous head butts, and adoring demeanor. <br/><br/>Lovey would do great with another elderly person or a quiet home since that's what she is used to. She will soon be making appearances at adoption events where she can meet lots of people.
