Lovebug's Story

Lovebug is the most special kitten you can meet. His favorite place to be in the world is sat on your lap, and spends most evenings there if you'll let him. Despite this he also is quite independent, and likes to do things on his own terms. He's a confident kitten and doesn't shy away from meeting new people. And while playful, he's not super high energy, so doesn't get into too much mischief :) Also have you seen his massive thumbs! He's impossible not to love <3 Lovebug has Atresia Ani Type 1 which is is a congenital narrowing of his anus, which causes constipation and defecation issues. He receives daily miralax for this, which he takes very easily sprinkled on top of his food. He uses the litter box with about 90% success for deification, and 100% success for urination. Lovebug is about 10 months old, negative for FIV/FELV, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Lovebug must go to a home with another cat. Heidi Wrangles Cats's Adoption Policy

You can find our adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/202927809015052 All cats are dewormed, treated for fleas, tested for FIV/FELV and negative unless otherwise noted, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Kittens too young to be spayed/neutered and still needing boosters on vaccines will be arranged by the rescue once old enough. Our adoption fee is $175 which goes towards the above vetting and allows us to continue rescuing new cats. All kittens under 6 months old must be adopted with another kitten unless you have a young playful cat at home. Applicants must be 18+. The person applying must be the primary caretaker off the cats/kittens, we do not accept applications for kittens as gifts. Please note we are a Brooklyn, NY based rescue. Applicants must live in, or near NYC.
