This sweet lady is Louise. I bet you can guess who her sister is.. yep, Thelma! We would love to see them get adopted together. But we just really need applicants to understand that she is still a little skittish around humans and will need a very patient and experienced adopter.<br/><br/>Louise's favorite toys are a laser pointer and a wand toy. The fastest way to her heart is tube treats like Churu. She likes to get to sniff you before deciding if you're worthy of giving her scritches. If you pass the sniff test, she'll show you the back of her neck which is your cue to scritch there. She very much does not like being in a crate or kennel, but loves lounging in the hammock in a cat tree or looking outside at the birds, bunnies, and squirrels in your yard.<br/><br/>Available for adoption, but if you live in or around Huntsville, AL, ask about our foster-to-adopt program in the "additional comments" section on the application!

First and foremost, Cattyshack adoptions involve filling out a non-binding application. We really want to process every detail on the app and feel good that we are sending the kitty home with the best possible fit. We also don’t enjoy having a cat returned three days later because you’ve decided scooping a litter box isn’t your thing, or your SO broke up with you and doesn’t want the kitten you gave her as “a gift”. We will do a vet reference to make sure any current animals you own are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, so go ahead and get that done before you even bother with an application. We all want to feel like you are REALLY, TRULY, 100% ABSOLUTELY going to commit 15-20 years to this kitten, or 10+ years to the adult cat your are adopting. That’s a big deal. So thank you in advance for your patience with our adoption process.
