Louise's Story
Where to start...this is LOUISE
Louise is a permanent kitten, about 4 pounds. She has had surgery for a hiatal hernia at UC Davis, and for esophageal stricture. Louise is at high rise of cancer, later in life. She can only eat soft, liquidy food. What she demands in care, she makes up for it tenfold in personality. She is spunky, active, and sooooo affectionate. She lives with dogs and cats, and loves everyone. Louise likes to tell you when she is hungry, and then races you to her elevated food bowl.
Foster mom has cat allergies, and is allergic to Louise-not a big deal, foster mom does not care, but if you have allergies please be aware that she is not hypoallergenic in any way. If you like personal space, that is also a no. As this Bio is being written, Louise has dipped her foot into foster moms drink, shaken it all over the keyboard, and is now sitting on the computer mouse.
Simply put, this is an AMAZING perma-kitten. She will need a family who is home most of the time, as she has to eat pretty often since her food is watered down. While she is so friendly she would likely do very well with children, she does have the needle like claws of a younger kitten and uses them often. She likes to bite on foster moms earrings, too.
Louise does not tolerate any type of solid food, and regurgitates about once a week. She takes Omeprazole twice a day. Louise loves Churu, but only certain flavors. Mostly she eats RC Kitten GI food mixed with HydraCare to make sure it is the right consistency. She is our little princess but holy heck she is precious. You can get lost in her eyes without even trying. If you think that you might be the right home for Louise, please reach out or fill out our application. As you can expect, we are going to need to be very specific in her placement. We can arrange meet and greets for approved applicants. Thank you!!

This adorable kitten is ready for their forever home! SCRITCH Kittens are fostered with care in loving homes so they are well socialized before their adoption. Each kitten has scrupulously maintained medical records, a microchip, is flea treated, dewormed, neutered/spayed and has all of their allowed shots for their age. This litter is FIV/FELV tested and negative.

https://forms.gle/Mpfrt7v7Nbyu5Btj7

About our process:
Someone will review your application and be in touch to do an initial screening interview. Then you'll have the opportunity to do a video chat with your future kitten and their foster so you can learn more about their personality and see them when they're most comfortable. If it's a good fit for you both, we'll move forward with the adoption.
*It is always recommended to adopt young kittens in pairs.
*Adoptions are typically limited to a maximum 50 mile radius of our Santa Clara home base.
We look forward to connecting with you soon!
