Louise's Story

Louise as a name means "fierce warrior", and we can see a bit of that fire in our Louise! Louise came from a large hoarding household with too many cats to care for. As a tiny girl, she had to stand up for herself to get what she needs. Much like her roommate, Louise has no teeth (a common trait among her group) and requires a soft food diet. Louise is initially reserved and needs someone who is respectful of her taking her time in learning to love again. She enjoys living with Papa July, another senior from her former household, and the two spend much time window-watching and lounging in bed together.

Given her backstory, we don't know how Louise feels about dogs or children, but she is well-accustomed to sharing her space with other cats. As she settles more into the busy shelter life, Louise is slowly warming her heart and letting us in. We look forward to getting to know her more whether here or from her forever family!
