Louie - CHOW HOUND - ADOPTION PENDING!'s Story
Meet Louie, a handsome snow colored kitty who was dumped on a farm. A farm owner, no stranger to cats being dumped near her barn, found Louie one day and kept Louie for 6 weeks trying to find an owner but once that didn't seem possible, Louie made his way to Second Chance.

Louie is a good sized guy with a sweet and tender heart. He loves and appreciates pets and attention! Louie is just a big 'ol lovable lug and every day becomes more relaxed and enjoying affection he can receive from people. While at Second Chance he was always one of the first kitties to greet visitors. Fun fact: only 5% of all felines are white. This makes Louise special and unique. Another trait that often accompanies white cats is hearing loss. We suspect Louie has some deafness. It doesn't change what a wonderful guy he is but if you are looking for a quiet cat, Louie is just for you.

Louie does okay with other cats but seems to prefer his personal space. We think he would love a home of his own where he can be spoiled. Louie would be great for a single adopter or couple who may be home more often than not. A family with older respectful kids might also work for Louie, too.

Louie is being lovingly cared for by the staff of the Cascade Chow Hound, 6787 Cascade Rd SE in Grand Rapids where you can meet him from 9am to 9pm daily!

Louie has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Louie has an approximate birthdate of 11/25/2022. His adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Louie or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
