Lou's Story
My name is Lou an adult Domestic Shorthair believed to have been born in 2021. I was found in Mt. Olive as a stray with a bloody ear. I have since been treated and had polyp removed from my left year. I was living on the streets but I'm too sweet to return to such a hard life. I'd love an indoor home that is safe, warm, and with someone that will pet while we watch a movie together. My history is unknown but with a proper introduction I could possibly live with other cats, cat friendly dogs, or even children. I can be a little standoffish at first but with a little patience I warm up very quickly. I do have FIV but don't let that frighten you away, I can still live in a home with other cats but I do have a weaker immune system than other cats. I have been neutered, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped, wormed and tested Positive for FIV and Negative for FelV.

Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.
