Lotus's Story

Please meet Lotus! He comes from an animal control and had been with them since October. Lotus is a beauty, about 10 lbs, 3 years old, very gentle and affectionate. He has been overlooked, because he is positive for FIV. Lotus is perfectly healthy and FIV cats often live normal life spans and healthy lives. The virus does not exist outside his body and will not causally spread to cat buddies A lot has been learned about FIV in recent years and FIV cats have a lot of love to give their families. C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter. We foster the pets in our care in our private homes. We are not open to the public. However we can at times arrange meet and greets, and we appear in public adoption events weekly at Creekside mall Petsmart in New Braunfels.
