Lotus's Story
Meet Lotus, a sweet but nervous girl who is looking for a calm and loving family to call her forever home. Lotus is a little lady who likes to rub against her brother Chief, while not necessarily bonded, she would thrive in a home with another cat to help bring out her personality. Lotus and Chief came in with 10 of their siblings after their owner had to move and couldn't take them with, so they can be quite nervous and unsure in new environments and with new people. Lotus has been building up her confidence since coming to the shelter and has, with time and patience, slowly been learning that people can be safe. Lotus would both do best in a quiet household where she can feel safe and secure, and where her new family will give her the space she needs to blossom at her own pace. Staff believes she would do well with adults and older children who can respect her need for space. If adoption isn't in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Lotus's profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!
