Lory's Story

Meet Lory - A survivor!

Lory’s rescue story began when she approached her rescuer looking for food. Instead of walking away, the rescuer thought, “Why not take her with me?” and within half an hour, Lory was safely indoors, warm, and comfortable in a crate.

A few days later, she was seen by a vet who discovered that Lory was lactating. After some digging in the area where she was found, it was learned that Lory had given birth a couple of months earlier, but sadly, none of her kittens survived. In her gentle, nurturing nature, she went on to help nurse another mother cat’s older kittens.

Lory has now fully recovered from her spay surgery and is ready for a fresh start. Purrfect Catpanion's Adoption Policy
We are very happy to help you find your next catpanion, please fill out our adoption application below to get started. The next step in the process will be a home visit or a video call, during which we will be looking to assess if the environment is safe to receive a cat. Some things we are looking for: - Windows in every room are secured to prevent the cats escaping. - Is the home ready to receive the kitty: litter box, food & water bowl areas, cat food available, etc. - Are there other pets that could potentially cause harm to the kitty? If other pets are present, they must all be fully vetted (Spayed/Neutered and Vaccinations up-to-date) This is not a 1-step process, we want to make sure the adoption is a purrfect match for everyone involved. All adoptions will incur an adoption fee: $200-$250 Your fee covers all vetting: Vaccinations, Deworming, Flea treatments, Neuter/Spaying, microchipping, etc.
