Ed & Lorraine...<br/>Lorraine & Ed....<br/><br/>These best friends don’t know a life without each other. <br/><br/>Lorraine’s New Year’s resolution is to live every moment to the fullest. <br/>Staff noticed a tumor on her during her intake. We had it removed and tested, the test unfortunately came back positive for cancer. Lorraine otherwise acts in good health, so she believes she can make the most out of 2026. However, she has some other small lumps. She is not undergoing any cancer treatment through us, though adopters are encouraged to discuss those options with their vet. We are considering her an adoption-hospice case.<br/><br/>Ed’s New Year’s resolution is to spend more time with Lorraine. <br/>Even when they were scared strays, abandoned outside of our shelter, Lorraine stuck by his side through it all. Now it’s his time to do the same for her.
