Lorelai's Story

Sweet Lorelai has been through some stuff but she's so ready for the good life in a home with her own family. She's a 6 year old petite dilute grey tabby girl with big eyes and so much love to give!

She is so incredibly sweet, loves getting petted, talks to her people with a little chirp/ring meow, enjoys laying in laps and napping, and watching Murder She Wrote. (She's knows who did it in every episode at this point.)

She likes playing with toys and carrying them around the house in her mouth, scratching her scratching post, sleeping in her furry cat bed, and playing all over the house with cat toys.

She likes dogs, cats and kids but because of her food allergies it's probably better for her to be the only cat unless your other cat is on hydrolyzed food also.

Her history: This girl came to us pregnant and underweight from a remote area of AZ- she had two kittens in our care and took very good care of them. She had terrible diarrhea and it took us a long time, lots of different treatments and medications and lots of work to get a handle on what was happening with her (turns out it was food allergies) but her tummy is happy now. She also had a pretty significant respiratory infection when she came to us but after many rounds of various antibiotics she's over it (she still sneezes occasionally and that might just be the norm for her going forward). She did have a mass removed from her mouth about 2 months ago but the pathology says it was a benign polyp and shouldn't impact her chances at a happy long life.

She eats prescription hydrolyzed dry cat food and can eat Gerber beef baby food (just beef and water) and is happy as a clam.

This incredibly loving, sweet and playful girl needs a family of her own. She has so much love to give! Are you her new family?

If you'd like to meet Lorelai please call or text her foster at (480)882-8595.
