Meet Lord Varys!<br/><br/>Varys came into HOTC when his former owner could no longer care for him. Unfortunately at the time, he had not been fixed yet and had been marking all over the house and she needed to surrender him.<br/><br/>We got him neutered and he has kicked his bad litter box habit and is a good mannered guy!!<br/><br/>Varys has proven himself to be a sensitive soul. He absolutely adores humans and even gives hugs. He tolerates the other cats he is being fostered with, but would be super happy as your one & only (or with another sphynx with a similar demeanor)<br/><br/>He came to us with a very sensitive stomach and is currently on a high protein diet to help his tummy stay settled. <br/><br/>LV is about 2 years old and ready to find his permanent forever.<br/><br/>He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and also had a ProBNP done to test some cardiac function which came back normal!<br/><br/>*Priority will be given to sphynx experienced applicants*

House of the Cat's Adoption Policy
Our process is a multi-step process that begins with filling out an application for us to review. We will screen each application thoroughly by confirming housing/pet policies, doing veterinary reference checks, and calling personal references. If everything comes back clear we will contact the applicant to schedule a phone interview during which we will discuss a time to meet the animal if we feel the applicant is a good fit. Once the applicant is approved they can meet the cat and take them home after signing their adoption contract and paying their adoption fee.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find adoptive homes for the homeless cats in Philadelphia. We also pull cats from shelters that are at risk of euthanasia or release back to the streets. We foster rescued cats and provide veterinary care until an adoptive home is found.
