Lora's Story

ABOUT LORA
Meet Lora, our beautiful 6-year-old tabby girl! This lovely lady was brought to HAP by some kindhearted Samaritans who had been feeding her for a few months after she showed up very skinny at their feral colony. Once she gained some weight, she began to show her sweet side, and her new friends realized she didn't belong outdoors! Lora is an absolute sweetheart, though she can be a little bossy at times. She prefers things to happen on her terms, but when they do, she's a very loving girl. If things don't go her way, she'll give a gentle reminder tap to let you know she's in charge! She isn't a fan of having her head pet, and is very suspicious of any hands that come towards her head. She does love a shoulder rub, though, she starts purring right away! She doesn't usually like to play, she much prefers to do some bird-watching or binge watch some tv!

*Lora is pretty indifferent to other cats, so we think she'd be fine to co-exist with another kitty! We recommend she live in a home without children or dogs.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
