Lola & PJ- yin and yang siblings's Story
This brother-sister duo brings everything to the table in a gorgeous tuxedo and black package. They were rescued just in time from a backyard space in the Bronx, and have been learning how good life is inside. Now they are ready to transition to their forever home, and are looking for their dream come true.

PJ (tuxedo, male) was ready for a life of leisure from the start. He loves that his daily routine consists of playtime, reliable meals, and naptime with his sister and their friends. PJ is a confident fellow, and not much in a home scares him. He can be rambunctious, and loves chasing springs, springs, and anything on a wand. Honestly, we haven’t found a toy he won’t chase! Although PJ isn’t a vocal cat, he’s not shy about telling you if he wants love, he’ll headbutt you for scratches or food. PJ has one eye that is observably different. His one eyelid is naturally more closed than the other, and this third eyelid doesn’t open all the way. His eyesight is fine and we are consulting with a vet on what treatment, if any, is appropriate.

Lola is a gorgeous black female, she looks like a mini panther! Where PJ is confident, Lola is a little shyer. She relies on her brother to give her confidence. She may adjust more slowly than PJ, but she does adjust and is examining the benefits of being a lap cat. Like many street cats, her first instinct is to run when she gets scared, but then she’ll turn around and return to investigate. She is playful and loves the same toys as brother PJ, but when she isn’t playing, she loves to cuddle. She is following PJ’s lead and learning to ask for petting by giving her humans a headbutt, and are happy to give her plenty of it! Where PJ is quiet, Lola has a variety of cute noises that she makes as she goes about her day.

Both PJ and Lola love all of their feline companions in their foster home, but they have not met dogs or children. They would do well in a home that is generally quieter, so Lola can continue coming out of her shell and acclimating. PJ and Lola love all sorts of toys, and are looking for a home that will spend plenty of time playing with them. Adopters that are looking to invest in building that bond with their feline companions will be richly rewarded. Both kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are currently in foster in southern CT, but we travel for great homes!

Apply to adopt them today: https://form.jotform.com/250073732465152
