Lola *Garage/Barn Cat*'s Story
Lola is estimated to be about 3 -4 years old.<br/><br/>She is a spayed, shorthair, tortie, manx mix.<br/><br/>She came into foster with her kittens, however it was very apparent that she does not trust humans and is terrified being close to them. After being in foster for a few months, there has been no progress with earning her trust and we feel the need to look for other options for her.<br/><br/>We are seeking a committed caretaker who has a safe barn or garage for her to live out her life.<br/><br/>Ideally, she would be provided shelter that would keep her safe from cold in the winter and heat in the summer months.<br/><br/>A person who has a barn or garage in need of a working cat, would be her best option. She would need an acclimation period of 6 to 8 weeks closed in and then she may be allowed outside with a pet door.<br/><br/>Lola does use a litterbox in her current caretaker's home, so she will use one during their acclimation period.<br/><br/>She loves her canned food. And uses a litterbox very well.<br/><br/>If you are interested in giving Lola a home, please send us an inquiry through petfinder.<br/><br/>There is a rehoming fee to cover the cost of her spay and other veterinary care.
