Lola's Story
Three years old with a round baby face, silky black fur, and a tiny white patch on her neck, Lola looks like a plush, purring night sky. She may observe quietly at first, following you around like a gentle little shadow, but she warms up quickly into the sweetest, most affectionate companion.

Lola greets her people with full-body warmth: a gentle leg rub, an infectious purr, a little hop onto her hind legs when she’s excited, and during mealtime, a cheerful belly-up pose. She’s the perfect blend of mellow cuddler and playful companion, and she loves nothing more than napping cozily on her humans.

She plays wonderfully with other cats (especially her friend Luna), loves hide-and-seek, kneading biscuits, and being near her people. Lola adjusts very well to new spaces, enjoys windowsills, fresh catnip, and the cozy comfort of being close to the humans she trusts.

Lola would do wonderfully adopted with Luna or into a home with another friendly pet, thanks to her gentle, people-loving temperament. If you’re looking for a tender, affectionate, quietly funny little soulmate who loves deeply and loyally, Lola is ready to settle in and purr her way through life beside you!

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Lola, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes.
