Lola's Story

Her name is Lola- but instead of a showgirl, she is just a sweet kitty who is looking for a new home.

While she can't merengue or do the cha-cha, she does love to play with toy mice, jingle balls, and laser pointers. When Lola isn't chasing a toy, you can find her watching birds and squirrels from the window or maybe rolling in some catnip. She is also used to sleeping in bed with her owner and cuddling is another pastime that she enjoys!

Lola has had litter box concerns in the past. During her stay at TCHS, she was treated for a urinary tract infection (UTI) and started on a prescription urinary diet. This diet will need to be continued long-term, and regular vet visits are important to maintain her urinary health. Her adopter should be prepared to set her up for success with proper litter box setup and care.

She has lived with a child and other cat but has not lived with any dogs. It is possible for other pets to impact her litter box use by adding stress to her home environment, Lola would likely do best as an only pet. Slow and proper introductions are always a must when introducing a new pet to the home. Please let a TCHS staff member know if you would like more information. Lola is front declawed and needs a home where she will live strictly indoors.

If you think Lola may be the one for you, please come on in and meet her today!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
