Loki's Story
Meet LOKI. This handsome black panther has a chiseled jawline and smooth black fur with just a few wisps of white fur strands at his chest. Our vet staff estimates LOKI to be between the age of one to two years old.

LOKI was brought to our cat center by a kind, caring and compassionate couple. The couple believed that LOKI was potentially abandoned or dumped by someone in the neighborhood. Although, they did not know this for sure, what they did know was that LOKI did not belong outside and would not be able to survive outside by himself. So, the couple did what they thought was best and took him into their home temporarily until they could secure a spot with a rescue/shelter. Upon arrival, it was determined that LOKI had already been neutered (however, no microchip upon arrival), so perhaps the kind couple's theory that LOKI may have been owned or lived in a home at one point in his life proved true. LOKI was quite confused and unsure at first. It seemed as if a 'quiet hiss' was the only form of communication he knew how to do. However, his eyes told a different story. It was evident LOKI was seeking touch and human interaction and companionship. LOKI is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. LOKI is gentle, sweet and accepting of pets. Every day he gets a bit braver, bolder and grows more confident. LOKI would thrive with a patient and nurturing adopter(s) who want to show this beautiful boy all the joys a home filled with love has to offer.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you would like to meet LOKI, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
