This goofy, playful guy has been through more than most in his life, but you’d never know it—he’s full of love, energy, and snuggles.<br/><br/>Locke is FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus), which can sound scary at first, but we encourage anyone interested to do their own research. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and his most recent bloodwork shows that with a safe indoor environment and proper care, he has the potential to live a long, happy life just like any other cat.<br/><br/>Here’s what makes Locke amazing: <br/>- **Funny and playful** – he’s always ready to chase a toy or goof around <br/>- **Super cuddly** – with humans and even dogs! He absolutely loves to snuggle <br/>- **Food motivated** – mealtime is his favorite time <br/>- **Resilient and loving** – despite everything he’s been through, his heart is wide open <br/><br/>Due to his FeLV+ status, Locke hasn’t been around other cats while in rescue, but he’s shown he can be great with dog friends! He was with cats up until he was brought into rescue at 5 months old, and if he wasn’t FeLV+, likely would have been a bonded pair with another cat he came in with who was negative. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home.
