Awhile back, Pet Pride added an Enforcement Officer to its staff, but not because security was a concern. One of our residents needed the job. Officer Llamrei (pronounced lamb-rye) insists on a life filled with purpose, making her the perfect candidate to patrol the grounds outside the shelter. Her daily outdoor expeditions not only satisfy her whip-smart, curious mind but also keep the shelter safe from cat burglars hauling away packages of Churu. Visitors who leave a car door open sometimes find our Enforcement Officer examining their back seats. Although Llamrei claims she is checking for contraband, we believe she simply enjoys cruising around. If so many interesting things are found just outside the shelter, imagine what’s going on down the road. This sassy, people-greeting, independent officer of the law knows who she is, and she’d love to know who you are too. Bring your ID to the shelter and ask for Llamrei.
