Lizard's Story
Meet Lizard! This sweet man was brought to us by a colony caretaker because he was emaciated, drooling everywhere, and couldn't hardly eat. He was in really bad shape, and we didn't know if he would make it. A trip to the vet revealed he had really bad teeth, and they felt that once they were removed he would recover. So we had his bad teeth removed, which turned out to be all of them! Over time, Lizard recovered, started putting on weight, and is now doing great!

Lizard doesn't need any special care. He can still eat both wet and dry food. You will notice his tongue sticks out most of the time, this is just because he don't have teeth to hold it inside! He also has been know to drool just a little bit from time to time!

Otherwise Lizard is a super sweet guy who loves to be petted and brushed. He loves the quiet life, and is content to lay around and sleep most of the day. At night he loves to sleep in the bed with his human. He is a little shy at first and will need time to warm up, but then he will give you his whole heart! Because of his shy nature, he would probably do best in a quiet home without young children. He has been around other cats, and has been around an older, calm dog. He would also do well as an only cat.

Lizard is estimated to be about 5-7 years old, is neutered, triple tested negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
