Livingston's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Some cats come as a package deal... and trust us, this is a very good deal.

Gambill is the life of the party. His purr motor turns on the second a human walks into the room and doesn’t really shut off. He loves belly rubs, stretching dramatically, rolling onto his back like he’s auditioning for a soap opera, and showing off for the camera (yes, he knows he’s handsome). He’s curious about everything, loves toys, climbing adventures, cardboard scratchers, and at the end of the day he’s happiest cuddling up with his brother Livingston... and a human or two.

Also, important to note: when you pick him up, he may play dead for dramatic effect. Don’t worry... he’s just being Gambill.

Livingston is the thoughtful one of the duo. He’s a little cautious at first, but once he decides you’re trustworthy, he’s a very sweet and affectionate guy. He likes to investigate new things carefully (on his own timeline, thank you very much), enjoys gentle back scratches, and is happiest cuddling and playing with his brother. Sudden movements aren’t really his style, but the sound of cat food being opened? Now that will get his attention immediately.

At night, both boys are big fans of cozy bed cuddles and hanging out together like the bonded best friends they are.

These two are the perfect balance: one part goofy, one part thoughtful, and 100% devoted to each other. Because of their bond, they’re looking for a home where they can stay together and whoever adopts them is basically getting a built-in buddy comedy.

If you are interested in meeting and adopting these two love birds, fill out an adoption interest form today!

Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to find the purrfect forever homes for our cats & kittens, so we match them with their potential families based on personalities, lifestyle, etc. Our Adoption process: Complete an Adoption Application. Once you submit an application, a volunteer will review your application, check your references, and contact you to conduct a phone interview with you about the animal and answer any questions that you may have. If approved, we will then set up a meet and greet with the entire family during open adoption hours to spend time with the cat you’re interested in. (all persons living full-time in the household must be present during the adoption process). If it's a match, we will then set up a date and time for you to take your furrever family member home. **WTRF does not do same day adoptions to allow our adoption counselors time to call your landlord and vet references. **WTRF does not do single kitten adoptions (unless you have a kitten of similar age already in the home, no seniors) nor do we break up bonded pairs. **WTRF only does local adoptions. Adoption Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older Have a valid form of id with current address Provide landlord information and approval and a copy of the executed lease or show proof of ownership Have proof of vaccines & spay/neuter for any other pets in the home Adoption Donation Fee: Adult Cats - 1 year of age and older $200.00 Kittens - $200.00 Specialty Breeds - $250.00 and up Cats who have had extensive medical work done (dentals, etc) - $250.00 and up All of our cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV/HW tested, vaccinated with all appropriate boosters/vax, parasite treated, flea protected, fecal tested, and microchipped.
