Littlefoot's Story
Littlefoot has a story to tell you!
One day he was just cruising the neighborhood and he attempted to jump a fence. He didn’t make it all the way over and was left hanging by his back leg. In an effort to free himself, Littlefoot chewed his toes off. Lucky for him, a realtor found him while inspecting the property. His leg had to be amputated and he had a long recovery. But now he is ready to find a home where he will always be inside and safe.
Littlefoot is long haired and does need some care. He tends to get mats around the area where his leg was amputated. He is shy and prefers to come to you for attention. At this time he does live with other cats, but he does not seem to have a desire to make friends or hang out with them, but he doesn’t fight with them. He doesn’t scratch the furniture and he always uses the litter box. Littlefoot would prefer a calmer home, without small children or hyper dogs.
Littlefoot was tested for FIV and got a faint positive. We have not yet, rerun the test as recommended by the vet. But FIV cats can live long healthy lives. And he has never been sick in our care for the past 1 1/2 years.
Please call us if you would like to meet Littlefoot. We offer trial adoptions and may consider a long term foster home as well. Our cell is 307-321-4024.
