Little Miss and Jenny's Story
Meet Little Miss and Jenny, a bonded pair of sweet girls rescued from a recycling plant! They are approximately 1 year old and ready to find a home where they can continue to grow and thrive together.

Little Miss is a small black cat with a white spot on her chest and beautiful, soft green eyes. She loves to stay curious, active and play, has the cutest little trills and meows, and will give you the sweetest cuddles—on her terms. Her favorite things include toys of all kinds (wands, solo toys, automated toys, even cat TV), treats, and watching birds from a cozy window perch.

Little Miss came into foster care fearful, and while she’s made so much progress, she can still be scared / shy with new people and situations. When she’s really scared, especially with forced handling (like at the vet or in a crate), she may hiss, swat, or try to escape, but this is fear, not aggression. She does best when she can come to you on her own terms, but she’s starting to learn that being approached is safe too.

When she builds trust and feels safe, her sweet side really comes out. She’ll cuddle, sleep with you, and has such soft, rewarding affection—it just happens on her timeline. She may still run away when you approach her, but with patience and consistency, she keeps coming to you more and more. She’s looking for someone calm and experienced with cats who understands that trust takes time and is worth it.

Jenny is a petite Siamese with beautiful, deep blue eyes and white / brown whiskers. She loves spending her time giving and receiving affection, lounging in her favorite cozy spots, and playing with toys. She can’t get enough quality time with her people (and Little Miss!) or treats. Jenny may be a little shy at first, but once you give her some gentle pets and reassurance, she warms up quickly and shows her loving personality.

Together, they’re a really special pair. Jenny helps Little Miss feel more confident with people, and Little Miss brings a playful, curious energy.

What Little Miss and Jenny are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They need an adult-only home.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Little Miss and Jenny! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response.
