Little Kitty (bonded with Reeses Pieces)'s Story

Little Kitty is a cat who's has had a tough time adjusting to life in the shelter. Right now, she’s feeling overwhelmed, and that stress has made her a bit reserved and unsure around people. She may hiss or hide when approached—but it’s important to remember: it’s not aggression, it’s fear.

Underneath that stress is a cat who simply hasn’t had the chance to feel safe yet. In her previous home she was the most outgoing and friendliest of her housemates. We believe that with time, patience, and a calm home, Little Kitty has the potential to come out of her shell and show her true personality.

She needs someone who understands that healing takes time—and is willing to let her set the pace. A quiet, adult-only home without a lot of hustle and bustle would be the perfect environment for her to start trusting again.

We don’t expect instant cuddles or lap time—but we do believe that with love and consistency, Little Kitty will blossom into a loyal and appreciative companion.

Since she has met Reese's Pieces she has warmed up even more, spending time with Reese, becoming more playful, and being friendlier towards people in general. Reese was recently adopted and returned because she seemed to be looking for Little Kitty the whole time, so she has reciprocated the affection that Little kitty has shown her and we believe they would do best in a home together.

Find our adoption application here: https://www.goape.info/adoption/adoption-policies/
