Little Edie's Story
Little Edie is a 13-year old senior who was originally surrendered to a loud, crowded shelter through no fault of her own. FRA pulled her into foster, and now this sweet and snuggly girl is looking for a calm and soft place to spend her golden years. Little Edie is a friendly, cuddly girl who just wants a soft bed, a warm lap, all the pets you're willing to give, and a sunny window to snooze in. She is still pretty spry and likes to play with toys for a few minutes at a time, and she certainly won't say no to some treats!

Little Edie has hyperthyroid, which is easily managed with a methimazole (a cheap medication she takes mixed into a churu with zero drama). After her hyperthyroid was under control, our vet did discover she has heart disease, and will need her adopter to maintain routine vet care just like any other senior cat. While we don't know how much time she has left, this sweet old lady deserves to spend their golden years in comfort, and she will happily repay you with all the snuggles you could want.

Little Edie was surrendered at the shelter with her mom, Big Edie (age 15). While these two old gals get along just fine, they are not a bonded pair and could be adopted separately or together.

Little Edie is fully vaccinated, spayed, and FIV-/FELV-. Please submit an application and/or reach out to her foster mom with any questions! lizbfostercats@gmail.com.
