Little Boy's Story
THE FIRST STEP IN OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IS TO FILL OUT OUR APPLICATION AT WWW.HAVENRESCUE.ORG/CATAPPLICATION

Say hello to Little Boy ... A dreamboat adult tabby with a name that forgot to check in with reality because nothing about this peach of a cat is little.

Not his size.

Not in his love.

Definitely not the force of his headbutts.

This big, beautifully striped boy is a full-hearted, full-contact fan of humans.

If it's not naptime, he's your official welcoming committee ... first at the door, tail up like a flag, eager to make first contact.

He arrives with a full-body headbonk greeting.

And then there's the lap situation.

Little Boy is not a "perch on the edge" kind of guy.

He is a full-on, sprawling, committed lap lounger. He moves in like he's docking a ship ... adjusts, plonks and then becomes a large, purring, striped paperweight you will happily rearrange your afternoon around.

He's lived with other cats and does just fine with that, but if you ask him, being the only cat sounds pretty dreamy, or maybe being the second in a home with another chill and independent cat who is fine with a companion cat rather than a playmate.

He's also lived with dogs, and that is A-OK too, provided they understand he is not a chase or chew toy.

Little Boy is one of those cats with an almost indescribable, gentle, generous quality about him. He's the cat who fills the room in the best way. A warm weight on your legs, a thump of greeting when you enter, a striped shadow who keeps choosing you to love, over and over and over.

Haiku for Little Boy

Tabby tide rolls in,
doorway, lap, and heart all claimed
small name, giant love.

NOTE: We require indoor-only care for our adoptions, though catios are fantastic!
