Little Bear's Story

Little Bear is the kind of kitten who believes there is no such thing as too much love. If there’s a lap nearby, she’s in it. If there’s a human sitting still, she’s attached. Constant contact is her love language.

She’s a sleek little black beauty with the softest whisper of white on her chest and belly—often on full display because she insists on belly rubs (and yes, she means it).

This girl is pure heart. Gentle. Devoted. And ready to spend her life glued to the humans she loves most.

Sometimes the smallest bears have the biggest hearts.

Love at First Purr's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between our cats and their future families. We start with a pre-screening application, followed by an interview (virtual or in-person) to learn more about the adopter’s experience and home environment. Once an applicant is deemed suitable, we arrange virtual or live visits with the cat and conduct a home check to ensure a safe environment. References may be checked as needed. If approved, the adopter completes an adoption agreement, and we provide medical records and post-adoption support to ensure a smooth transition. We are committed to placing our cats in loving, responsible homes and remain a resource for adopters after the adoption is finalized. If for any reason an adopter can no longer keep their cat, we require that the cat be returned to our rescue.
